Douglas spent ten years as a navigator at sea before turning to financial services, where he has now worked for over 25 years as a business owner, investment adviser and financial planner.

He established Loch Fyne Financial to serve the needs of a small number of private clients and their families. His desire is for the firm to stay small and remain tightly focussed on delivering a bespoke Director led service to the highest of standards.

Douglas is known for his ability to create clarity out of complexity – invariably with the help of straightforward words and pictures.

Margaret Stewart

Director and Certified Financial Planner

Margaret is a highly qualified Certified Financial Planner. She looks after the technical analysis, compliance and research aspects of our business, drawing on nearly 30 years’ experience working in the financial services profession.

Lisa Hodgson

Office Manager

Lisa oversees the day to day running of our office. She is incredibly passionate about consistently delivering an exceptional level of service. Her ‘can do’ attitude and empathy with clients are a winning combination.

Joanne McIntyre

Trainee Paraplanner

Joanne is already known to many of our clients having worked in the office for a time during her period at University, whilst studying for her degree in Computer Science.
Joanne is now learning the ropes and is supporting both Margaret and Lisa.

Alice Stewart

Graduate Trainee

Having graduated with a degree in Business Management, Alice is the most recent addition to our Client Support team. As well as managing client records and support systems, she assists Lisa in her day to day work.
